Description
For Universities and researchers, our Thrust Vectoring Evaluation Kit provides everything required to characterize vectored thrust for your application. The kit is the simplest embodiment of the technology and enables single-axis vectoring of an unshrouded aircraft propeller.
The flight-worthy kit consists of the three primary assemblies:
Universal Hub including a 1.0m diameter, 3-blade, fixed-pitch propeller assembly with ground adjustable blade pitch
Drive Shaft assembly with a flange fitting that attaches to your motor or engine
Aero-frame, carbon-fiber strut assembly which steers the propeller and carries its thrust back to the airframe or bench
Including the following Integration supplies:
(1) Integration tool
(2) Carbon fiber Control Arms
(2) Clevis pins to attach the propulsor to the airframe
(2) Spherical Rodends (M10) (use is optional)
(6 oz) CV Joint grease cartridge
All fasteners required for assembly and installation (metric)
Specifications:
Travel of +/- 20 degrees single-axis tilting
Rotational speeds to 3,600 RPM max
Power up to 20 kW (27 hp)
Thrust to 91 kg (200 lbs) max
Support includes:
Access to CAD models for integration setup
Integration instructions
Access to STEP files for 3D printing of optional components (“spinner” cone, strut fairings, etc)
Notification and access to TVP tech advancements for as long as the kit is in use
Note: Rotation is the direction your motor turns when looking through the propulsor, into the drive shaft of the motor.
